About
us
hop, Shop, Shop with Twinkle Toes! Come join us for our first, trendy kids’ consignment popup event where every step twinkles with style!
Twinkle Toes was born after YEARS OF volunteering, shopping at various consignment events AND attending CONSIGNMENT boot camp. It is a semi-annual babies/kids POP-UP consignment event located in Macon, GA and serving surrounding areas. Each year, OUR EVENT will be held in February or early March for our Spring/Summer SALES and again in September or early October for our Fall/Winter event.
The event provides an outlet for families, caregivers, and others to recycle and de-clutter their kids’ closets of unwanted, unused and/or outgrown high-quality clothing, toys, furniture, other accessories and earn some extra spending money for these items. Twinkle Toes also provided families with the opportunity to purchase these new OR gently USED items in a boutique atmosphere WITH PRICES at 50 to 90% below retail.
Some of our consignors donate their items at the end of the event TO OUR LOCAL partner charities to aid in helping those experiencing life’s challenges.
TWINKLE TOES provides:

Pricing for Success
SAFETY PINS: Please use safety pins that are a minimum of 1-1/2" or larger; Please do not use tiny gold safety pins or straight pins for any reason; 2' safety pins are ideal for hanging pants; Safety pins can be used in lieu of a tagging gun to secure tags to your items
HANGERS: We accept both plastic and wire hangers. Please ensure you are using the appropriate size hangers for your clothing sizes
TAGGING GUN: If using, insert the barb through the clothing’s label or an inside seam. DO NOT punch the barb directly through the clothing to avoid making a hole in the clothing. We WILL NOT accept clothing with holes made from tagging!
We want you to have a “happy” consigning with us and suggest pricing your items at 1/3 - 1/4 of their original retail price. Smart pricing helps more of your items sell!
For high-end designer wear & accessories or brand-new items, you may price at 50% off their original retail price.
We recommend a minimum starting price of $5 for all items. If you have items that will not individually sell at the minimum price, try bundling items. eg. onesies of the same size can be hung together as a set, several coloring books or other books can be bundled together & priced accordingly
HINT: You can increase your sale potential if you choose to DISCOUNT your items when tagging. Tags marked for discount indicate your items will sell at half-price on the last day only of the sale.

Tagging for Large Items
These tags will be used for your large items, such as:
Consignors, you will print your tags as usual for your large items and bring those tags UNATTACHED with you at drop-off (you can bring your loose tags with you in a sandwich bag for safe keeping). In turn, you will receive a claim ticket as shown in the image on the left.
At drop off, we’ll staple your tag to our claim ticket and affix it to your large item. This method ensures proper credit to your account when your item(s) sell. Shoppers interested in purchasing any large items will enter their names on the top portion of the ticket and remove the bottom half of the tag along the perforated line. Once a claim ticket is missing its bottom portion, the item is considered sold.
Tagging Other/Misc Items
Shoes, Sneakers & Boots: Attach your footwear together with its strings, ribbon or zip-ties. With a one hole-puncher, punch one hole in your tag and tie it to the straps, buckles or lace holes of your footwear. If there is no way to affix your tags to the exterior of the footwear, you can use rubber bands to keep them together and place your printed tag on the bottom soles of your footwear. DO NOT use shoe boxes as all shoes will be openly displayed.
Games & Puzzles: Games must have new or working batteries as needed. All puzzles must be new and in their original packaging with the exception of board puzzles. For board puzzles, place the shapes, letters or numbers in their respective slots on the board. Cover the board with cling wrap to keep the pieces in their places. All open ends of the cling wrap should be neatly tucked toward the back side of the board. Use clear packaging tape to secure the cling wrap to the board and keep the pieces in place. Tape your tag on backside of the board using painter’s tape. Do not cover over your barcodes.
Books: Place all tags on the back of your books using painter’s tape. If you’re selling books as a set, place your books into the appropriate size Ziploc bag. Seal the bag with clear packaging tape and affix your tag on the back of the Ziploc bag with painter’s tape.
Toys: For large toys that have smaller pieces, place smaller pieces in a Ziploc bag taped shut at the opening;
Remember, to include new/working batteries with your toys & remember presentation is everything.
Diaper bags, Snugglies, car seat covers** Please zip tie these items to a large hanger as they will hang on a rack for open display. Run your sale tag through the zip tie and do ensure these items are clean & in like new condition!
Bedding/Blankets: Receiving blankets, crib & toddler sheets must be new and in their original packaging. Use clear packing tape to attach your tag to the upper right of your package and remember: Do not cover your barcodes!
Strollers, high chairs, car seats: Please, Please, CLEAN THESE items! Remove the fabric pads from ALL baby equipment with pads and give them a spin in your washing machine so they are fresh & ready.
**Please Note: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), warns against covers used underneath a baby &/or have a layer between their body and the harness, as these are unsafe. Infant car seat covers should easily have accessible openings or mesh panels to allow for proper ventilation and air-flow**
